No Hidden Fees. No Upselling. Just Honest Local HVAC.

Most big-box HVAC companies in the Valley operate on sales commission, pushing full system replacements when a simple capacitor or wire repair is all you need. At Alphas Heating and Cooling, our core rule is "Fix First, Replace Last."

We focus strictly on your system's efficiency, longevity, and performance. Whether we are troubleshooting a dead compressor, diagnosing electrical failures, or performing a deep chemical coil wash, we show you exact photo proof of the issue before any work begins.

Our shop is located right here on Holmes Ave in Mesa. We live, work, and raise our families in this community—and we treat every customer like a neighbor.

Our Core HVAC Services

24/7 Emergency AC Repair:
When your air conditioner stops blowing cold air in the middle of a 115° Arizona summer day, waiting until tomorrow isn't an option. We dive straight into the mechanical core to fix refrigerant leaks, electrical component failures, frozen evaporator coils, and blown motors—restoring cold air fast.
Precision Maintenance & Seasonal Tune-Ups:
Our multi-point precision inspections go far beyond a quick visual check. We perform rigorous electrical load testing, measure airflow pressure, wash dirt from condenser coils, and calibrate moving parts to meet original manufacturer specifications for maximum energy efficiency.
High-Efficiency AC Installation & Replacement:
Ready to replace an old, inefficient unit? We perform precise Manual J load calculations to size your system perfectly for your home’s square footage. From energy-efficient heat pumps to traditional central split systems, we ensure airtight duct connections and optimal performance.
Ductless Mini-Split Systems:
The perfect solution for Arizona room additions or temperature-sensitive spaces where traditional ductwork won't reach.
Heating & Heat Pump Services:
Desert winter nights routinely drop below 40°. We inspect ignition reliability, heat strips, heat pumps, and safety controls so your home stays warm and safe during chilly East Valley months.

Built specifically for the Arizona Desert

From heavy monsoon dust clogging outdoor coil fins to relentless summer heat running your system 18 hours a day, Arizona HVAC systems work harder than almost anywhere else in the country. We specialize in desert-tested solutions:

Smart Thermostat Installation: Professional setup of Nest and Ecobee smart thermostats configured to minimize peak-demand electricity rates charged by SRP and APS.
Monsoon Coil Cleaning: Chemical washing to remove compressed desert dust and dirt, lowering compressor head pressure and slashing electric bills.

Frequently Asked Questions

How fast can a technician reach my home for emergency AC repair?

We offer 24/7 emergency dispatch throughout Mesa, Gilbert, Tempe, and Chandler. In most peak emergency cases, a technician arrives within 1 to 2 hours.

How do I know if my AC needs a repair or a full replacement?

If your system uses obsolete R-22 refrigerant, is over 12–15 years old, or requires a repair costing more than half the price of a new system, replacement is usually more cost-effective. Otherwise, our "Fix First" philosophy means we repair the system whenever safely possible.

Do you offer upfront pricing?

Yes. We perform a diagnostic evaluation, explain the exact issue with photo evidence, and give you a clear, fixed-rate quote before any repair work starts. No surprise labor charges or hidden add-ons.
